55-year –old John was the president of Lion’s Club in Pennsylvania and a school principal. The man suffered a stroke that saw him spend most of his time in a rehabilitation center.
Following the stroke, John’s life changed a great deal. John underwent rehabilitation at a hospital in Wilkes-Barre. Well, it appears music therapy seems to be working for the once-healthy man. Music helps him regain his balance and movement besides bringing a smile on John’s face.
14-year-old Lizzie, John’s former student, has been a great inspiration. The girl has cerebral palsy, and she would hug John from her wheelchair at the end of the class. John’s problems were nothing compared to Lizzie’s.
John partnered with the hospital staff and prepared an amazing dance performance. Watch the hilarious video as they perform “All About That Bass.”
